Diverse Abilities
Looking for an uplifting, transformational experience for a loved one or clients with diverse abilities?
“A hero is an ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure, in spite of overwhelming obstacles”
– Christopher Reeve
Catering for all ages, we will happily tailor our workshops to suit the specific capabilities and requirements of your group and its individuals to ensure an enriching and rewarding experience.
With funding from Arts Queensland, we recently trialled our new Multi-Arts Creative Interventions by employing community artists with diverse abilities…and unique superpowers! We devised and facilitated bespoke workshops, targeting specific needs and challenges, then evaluated participants’ wellbeing outcomes via surveys and interviews. Participants reported increased confidence, pride and self-expression, and a sense of contribution and belonging.
These creative interventions are now ready to roll out to your organisation!

Professionalising the Arts Sector for Work in Mental Health Contexts – Australia Council for the Arts Research Project
It was a thrill to be involved in this research project conducted by Wesley Mission Queensland, and supported by Australia Council for the Arts. What a joy to hear our workshop participants’ views on the benefits of creative arts on their health and wellbeing, and to witness them shine as they applied their responses through artistic mediums. This video speaks for itself!
